"Earth and We " is a series of images I am working with that juxtaposes monochrome nudes with flora and foliage of our natural environment.
For this series I am showcasing the human body in its most natural form to symbolise who we truly are, while merging it with elements from our most primal inspiration that is Mother Earth.
It is an intimate and vulnerable expression of the connection between both forms, a celebration of the human body and our environment, a testimony to the essential truth that we are both one of the other.
Images from our beautiful planet have been subjects of my photography unconsciously for the last couple of years. I also have a fascination of this splendid force of nature that is the human body. My goal was to strike a connection between two truly beautiful things that need love and nurturing because come to think of it, they are both ‘home’ to us.
